PES 2018 DEMO UPDATE & RELEASE DATE

The PES 2018 demo is now live on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Unfortunately, despite talking up the potential of this years' PC offering, PC fans will have to wait for their own demo.

However, PC players won't have to wait too long, as a post on the PES 2018 website this morning appears to have confirmed a release date for the PC demo.

And it could be a bit of a thorn in the side of FIFA 18.

Earlier this morning it was tentatively confirmed that the FIFA 18 demo will arrive on September 15th.

And the PES website now suggested that their PC demo will be released "Sep-mid", which we're going to assume is a roundabout way of saying September 15th.

Even if you're a FIFA kinda person, you'd have to be pretty hard nosed to admit that Pro Evolution Soccer hasn't made some pretty steady and impressive leaps in recent years.

And PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One players will have the opportunity to trial the game from tomorrow when Konami releases the new PES 2018 Demo.

Unlike their FIFA 18 rivals, PES bosses revealed their demo announcement at Gamescom 2017 last week and players will be able to jump into it TOMORROW, August 30.

Unfortunately, Konami has yet to detail what time the demo will be released, however, a representative for the game has confirmed to Express Online that it's "in the hands of the respective platform holders."

According to the Express, "PlayStation owners can expect the demo to go live at around 11am UK time on PS4 and PS3."

But there's no word on a launch time for Xbox 360 or Xbox One users.

When it does go live, however, there will be two stadiums to sample, Barcelona's Camp Nou and Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park., while exhibition and co-op are available in the demo.

In addition, there will be two modes to enjoy, exhibition and a new multiplayer mode called CO-OP which will be available in the demo. There's no Online portion of the demo, but then Konami already ran a PES 2018 Online Demo a few weeks back.

As for the teams on offer, players can choose from Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Inter Milan, SC Corinthians, CR Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate and Colo-Colo.

There's also a selection of international teams to pick from, such as Germany, Brazil and Argentina.According to the Express, "PlayStation owners can expect the demo to go live at around 11am UK time on PS4 and PS3."

But there's no word on a launch time for Xbox 360 or Xbox One users.
